There’s a new podcast series that asks the question: Can we learn to coexist with fire in the West? United by Fire explores our relationship with the land amid rapidly changing wildfire behavior in a world that’s burning hotter and faster than ever. Created by the Institute for Science & Policy at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, “United by Fire” examines lessons learned from Colorado’s record-setting 2020 fire season through the voices of those who witnessed it firsthand, as well as ecologists, land managers, community planners and entrepreneurs who are working to build a more wildfire-resilient future.
